Seeds of Independence: African-Americans Working at Gunston Hall in the 20th Century 
Sunday, February 7 * Program at 2:00 p.m.


** The Seeds of Independence program has been rescheduled due to snow for Sunday, February 14th at 2 p.m. **

A short film documents contributions of African-Americans who made Gunston Hall a showplace.  A presentation by Virginia Tech History Professor Peter Wallenstein places these everyday labors into a modern social context.   

Suggested Contribution: $9, Adults; $8, Seniors; $5, 6-18 years.

Sponsored by the Kirkpatrick Family Fund.  Coordinated by Gunston Hall's Seeds of Independence Committee.
