I see by the papers, as Will Rogers used to say, that the board of
directors of the Virginia Historical Society has elected Paul Levengood,
currently the managing editor of the Virginia Magazine of History and
Biography, the next president of the society, to succeed Charles Bryan
when he retires in November 2008.
