Kalli Lucas recently did an MA on the Wythe
County Poor Farm, a magnificent set of
structures including the main building with
dining hall and a set of 8 duplexes and other
associated buildings. Included in it is a
history of similar county efforts. It was at
the U. of Tenn. Sorry but I don't have the
title.
