A book which is relevant to this topic is Editor for Justice: the Life of
Louis I. Jaffe, by Alexander S. Leidhardt.  Louis Jaffe was an
editor/publisher of the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot who campaigned courageously
for antilynching laws.
