Dear Netti,

VFAR is not a state agency, but many on our staff do have long
experience with early Virginia archaeological and historical sites,
including Jordan's Point. I have not done a complete title chain for
Jordan's Point, but there are several plats of that area in the Prince
George County Surveyor's books. One in particular, the Estate of Richard
Bland called "Jordan's," dated May 4, 1815, should by of interest to
you. You can take the title back from that point.

While I worked with the original Surveyor's Books in the courthouse, I
believe they are also on microfilm at the LVA. It is an interesting
area. Get out your USGS quads and have fun!
