It is just par for the course with CWF.  They are selling off all their land
holdings.  Look at the portions of the Williamsburg Civil War Battelfield just
outside the Colonial District they have developed (Penske Garage and Bus
Depot) and sold (Riverside 270 acres).  Think of short sighted - has anyone ever
look at how much more money Civil War attractions bring than Colonial ones?
You would get an extra day out of every visit if they had had the wherewithall
to save and interpret the civil war battlefield.  Also they have now put the
old Carr's Hill historic tract and viewshed on the sales block.
Mismanagement and plundering of their own historic gems will cost CWF in 10
years....all their beans are going into the 2007 Jamestown event which will be
a huge disappointment as it simply is not a draw.....
