Dear colleagues:

Members of this list, as well as others engaged in early American
intellectual history, may be glad to learn that E. Millicent Sowerby's
great annotated catalog of Thomas Jefferson's library has now been
digitized and put online through the Library of Congress's Web site.
It is available in both HTML pages and .pdf.

There are two ways to access it.

You can do so through the Rare Book Division's Web pages, at
http://www.loc.gov/rr/rarebook/coll/130.html .

Or you can do so through links in the bibliographic record for the
Sowerby volumes in the Library's main catalog, at
http://catalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?
v3=1&DB=local&CMD=010a+52060000&CNT=10+records+per+page
(scroll down for the links to each volume).
