Heritage Society Fair
Saturday, June 3, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Main Library, 706 S. Jefferson St.
Roanoke Public Libraries, Roanoke, VA

The Virginia Room of the Roanoke Public Libraries is hosting a Heritage
Society Fair showcasing herditary and heritage organizations.

Do you love history and want to connect with your roots? Have you wondered
if you could join the Daughters or Sons of the American Revolution, the
Sons of Confederate Veterans, the Mayflower or Jamestowne Societies? Are
you interested in membership in the Afro-American Historical and
Genealogical Society or the U.S. Colored Troops (Civil War) Institute?
These groups welcome new members; they welcome you. In this informal
setting you will have the opportunity to speak with members or pick up
literature for several different societies. Virginia Room tours will be
held on the half hour. Come anytime throughout the day! For more
