Tom,

I am not bitter, but I have compassion and empathy for those who are bitter 
because of the reasons under discussion and others. (I work with the 
disabled.)

I prefer that the Civil War be called the Civil War.

Next week I will be near New Point Comfort, so I will wave at you when I'm 
on the beach.

I have five biological sisters. One lives in Texas, I am in Virginia, the 
other four live in four northern states. We got together to bury our mother 
a few years ago, and that's when the discussion of southern ways came up. 
Virginians and Texans have a lot of similarities.
