Historical Declinations for the United States

Welcome to the National Geophysical Data Center's Historic Declination
Program (USHD). This program calculates values of magnetic declination
for the Conterminous United States for the years 1750 to 1995, given the
latitude, longitude, and dates of interest. The current declination is
calculated based on the 1990 U.S. Declination Model developed by the
U.S. Geological Survey.

Note: If you are looking for declination values outside the conterminous
US or for values from 1900-2000, please run GEOMAG, on-line.
If you do not know your latitude and longitude, the U.S. Gazetteer will
allow you to lookup your location given the city / state or postal code.

Take care,

Bob
