Short title: Argall v Lady Delawarr.
Plaintiffs: Samuel Argall (Deputy Governor of Virginia).
Defendants: Cecily [West] Lady de la Warr and Edward Brewster.
Subject: goods, on the ship Neptune (Richard Beaumont master), belonging to the late [Thomas West] Lord de la Warr [Governor of Virginia, who died in 1618, at sea, on his way back to Virginia], North America; Brewster tried to keep the goods, but Captain Francis West took them as next-of-kin until more could be heard from England; Brewster was tried for mutiny at Jamestown, Virginia, but was sent back to England where he gave Lady Cecily false information that Argall had tried to interfere with Lord de la Warr's estate, and as a result Argall was arrested 4 times and Brewster tried to kill him.
