If memory serves, the Villa M was on Hampton
University lands near where the B. T.
Washington Bridge crosses onto the property.
It is an archaeological site versus a
standing structure.
It was not affected by the bridge. It is
possible that there is some gray literature
on the site at the Department of Historic
Resources in their CRM Archives. As I recall,
it did show on some of the period maps.
Colonial Williamsburg also did some work
there in the 1980's which may have further
investigated it.
