*HISTORY ALIVE*

On Saturday, June 30, the West Virginia Humanities Council 
presents a free public event at Ashby's Fort 1755, located 
in Fort Ashby, WV. Come meet Andrew Montour, a French and 
Indian War Scout, interpreter, war captain, son of a 
French mother and Oneida Indian warrior chief. (Portrayed 
by William Hunt, historian of the 18th Century colonial 
frontier.) Reception and program begin at 6:30PM in 
Ashby's fort 1755 barracks. For more information and
