On Sunday 4 February 2013, the Richmond Times-Dispatch ran a front page article on the 1963 Danville civil rights demonstrations. The Library of Virginia has case files for the more than 250 individuals who were charged with various offenses during these protests. Today, Out of the Box features two blog posts that originally appeared in issues of The Delimiter, an in-house LVA newsletter. The first entry details the visual and textual holdings on the Danville demonstrations, and the second features audio files of the historic testimony recorded during the Danville civil rights trials.
