Thanks, Nancy for sharing the link to Colbert King's piece.

I knew the man looked like he was old enough to have benefitted from the Jim 
Crow laws and Massive Resistance. That man is one who should apologize 
himself.

I agree with King that the Commonwealth owes an apology to all people of 
color for their mistreatment, from the taking of land and massacres of 
Indians trying to defend their "personal property", to black who were 
deprived of all human rights, to the blacks of our century deprived of their 
civil rights.
