All,

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Out of the Box blog 
from the archival staff here at the Library of Virginia. We hope to share the 
interesting things we find while processing the collection and something about 
the archival profession as practiced here at the LVA. This week we share an 
odd find in correspondence from Fairfax County circa 1987 and a remembrance 
of  the late Robert Clay, a reference archivist here for many years. We plan to 
post every Wednesday. Access it at the following address or in Virginia
