The Sewall-Belmont House & Museum, 144 Constitution Ave. NE ( at 2nd Street) in Washington is seeking an interim and a permanent director. This museum is the headquarters of the historic National Woman's Party, is a National Historic Landmark, was the home of suffragist leader, Alice Paul, has an archives and collections of artifacts of the woman's suffrage and equal rights campaigns, and offers tours and programs .  (The National Woman's Party is the group that organized there at Alice Paul's home, picketed the Wilson White House, were arrested and taken to the Occoquan Work House, force fed, etc. - so there is a Virginia connection. Last spring we organized a group here in Arlington and had a great tour of this very special house/museum.)
