I am writing to request any information available regarding the manner
in which christmas was or was not observed in Virginia in the colonial
period, including any traditions and or changes in traditions or
practices.

Even cites to anecdotal accounts would be appreciated. The
involvement or part played by the Anglican Church would also be
appreciated.
