I also read advice recently that people should try when possible to put
their replies *above* the excerpts to which they are replying (unless they
are doing an interlinear reply out of necessity) so that people with audio
readers due to sight problems don't have to listen to the same excerpts
again and again.  It's easy for the sighted to just glance at a text to know
what the reply below it is referring to--audio readers can't "glance," so
the listener has to sit through the entire excerpt before getting to the new
reply.
