It’s possible that some in this forum would want to know that Norfolk radio
talk-show host Tony Macrini has again invited me to talk about the now
decade-old struggle over the future of post-Army Fort Monroe.

Media and others have been quiet for a year or so about the debate, but it
remains as unsettled as ever.

The interview takes place at 7:30 on Thursday morning, January 28, on WNIS,
AM 790. I don't know if Tony will be taking calls, but I hope he does.

You can also listen online. Click “Listen Live” at the WNIS website,
http://www.wnis.com/ . (By waiting a few seconds, you can leave the “Use
your location?” question unanswered.)

You can see the controversy’s geography in a glance at the map-photo
illustration at http://www.fortmonroenationalpark.org/ .

Thanks.

Steve Corneliussen
