Join us at the Patrick Henry Committee of historic St. John's Church (1741) in Richmond for a new session of training to be a guide and hospitality ambassador! The church is on the National Historic Landmarks, National Register of Historic Places, and Virginia Landmarks Register, and hosts regular reenactments of the 1775 Second Virginia Convention. This convention was recently featured in a PBS educational program, "Liberty or Death," inlcuding historians and Pulizer Prize winners. We are seeking enthusiastic, talented individuals to welcome the thousands of visitors we have each year. If the cry, "give me liberty or give me death," stirs you to action, join forces with a dedicated corps of professionals already enjoying sharing Virginia's and our nation's history. Recruits should be knowledgeable about Richmond and Revolutionary War history and be willing to train with our experts for the experience of a lifetime. For more information, call or email Rita M. Bagby at (804) 648-5015 or [log in to unmask] today to sign up for the fun and excitement! For information on the "Liberty or Death" DVD including commentary by the Library of Virginia's own Brent Tarter, go to www.historicstjohnschurch.org.
