Good for you Fred, hanging in there.  That is more or less what I did.  We
have tickets for just one day.... were led to believe we could only do that.
I never thought about them vaporizing at noon.  Shades of those old (and
MI3) Mission Implausable episodes.

I hear rumors that early 2007 will bring GREAT THINGS, ala Jamestowne
publicity -- spots on public TV, et al.  But at the moment I am reminded of
my early days with IBM back in the 1960's.  Demand was SO great for
computers at that point, that delivery of even the most mundane system was
one year, and often as much as two years.  IBM told the world that a lot of
time was needed to plan for the installation, and there were a lot of jokes
(some unprintable) that went round about "how great it was going to be when
it was installed."

We are at about W minus 21 (weeks) at this point, so I keep hoping to see
one of the superheroes -- CAPTAIN JAMESTOWN -- burst forth to lead us to the
promised land.
