The fourth annual Fairfax County History Conference will be at Northern Virginia Community College (Ernst Community Cultural Center, Annandale Campus) on Saturday, November 15.  Themes will be focused around "Our Twentieth Century," and is cosponsored by the Fairfax County History Commission, the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Fairfax County Museum and Visitor Center, and the Northern Virginia Association for History.  Admission is $30 which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and free parking.  Participants will learn about suffragists, the Civilian Conservation Corps, Fairfax County's agrarian past, as well as local tourist courts and diners, to name just a few topics.
