Our archivists often unfold an unremarkable piece of paper to find something 
unexpected. Such was the case with a marriage certificate entered into a 
chancery court case as an exhibit in Spotsylvania County circa 1913. Some 
public documents are suitable for framing. See the latest entry in the Out of
