Just a guess, but "Henry" could well be the name of a family friend or someone else the family admired, e.g. my grandmother's middle name was Carruthers, after a longtime family friend, and her sister's middle name was Garfield --yep, after the President.

My g-g-g-grandmother's middle name was Henry. This was not her maiden name.
It appears that one of her grandaughters was also named Henry. Was this
just quirky to my family, or was it a common name used for girls in the
1800s?
