Your class may enjoy a ten page article about three Laws brothers from
Northumberland and Lancaster counties who served on ships in the
Revolution.    "There Were Three Brothers" by Carolyn Jett in *Echos of
Yesteryear: Occasional Papers from Mary Ball Washington Museum and Library*,
Volume 1, 2006.  p 89-98.  Some of the information comes from the 94 pages
in the Laws family Revolutionary War claim files at the National Archives.
Other info comes from claims first filed in the Northumberland County Court
in 1838.  Family descendants still live in the area.
