P.S.  Of course, no one from England, noble or otherwise, "settled 
Virginia"--it was already settled long before the English showed up.  
The fact that the standard in question evidently overlooks that little 
detail doesn't exactly give one confidence, does it?

Unfortunately, if this list is going to start turning over the rocks 
that constitute Virginia's Standards of Learning (SOLs), I expect we'll 
find enough bugs to keep us busy for weeks.
