I realize that this is not strictly at VA question, but hopefully someone
will have an answer for me. I am searching for information on what a
packing crate might look like circa 1806. In particular, I am interested in
knowing how Jefferson might have shipped items (Lewis and Clark items) from
the Presidents House to Monticello. If anyone has any ideas please e-mail
me directly.
