Extending THANKS and PRAISE to Brent Tarter and the Staff of the 
Library of Virginia for a wonderful and stimulating Virginia Forum 
conference this past weekend.  

Unfortunately, I had to miss part of the festivities in order to avoid the 
storms coming from St. Louis as I headed toward St. Louis, giving 
new meaning to "in your face."

But anyone who has not attended either Forum I in Winchester or 
Forum II in Richmond should make every effort to be present at the 
2008 spring gathering in Fredericksburg.
