_Beach to Bluegrass: Places to Brake on Virginia’s Longest Road_ by Joe Tennis

Author Joe Tennis will share tales from his book which takes readers on a 
journey along Virginia’s U.S. Route 58, beginning near Hampton Roads and 
ending at the Kentucky border. A mixture of history and legend, _Beach to 
Bluegrass_ features sections on Hampton Roads, the Piedmont region, the Blue 
Ridge Highlands and Southwest Virginia. A book signing will follow the talk. 

Copies of this book, along with Tennis’ 2004 work _Southwest Virginia 
Crossroads: An Almanac of Place Names and Places to See_, are available in 
the Virginia Shop at the Library of Virginia. Please visit

The Library of Virginia is located at 800 East Broad Street in downtown 
Richmond.  Free parking is available underneath the building.
