The Humanities Network, H-Net, has a Maryland discussion list, H-Maryland.

The genealogical community has also created numerous state and local electronic discussion groups and even family lists for highly focused research.

Is there an equivalent to this list in Maryland? A friend of mine is researching a manumission document from Cecil County in 1808.
