Subject: New Blog Post - Magic Bullet

Thirty-eight years after the Revolutionary War the bullet that severely
wounded Edward Houchins exited his arm. He included the bullet, containing
fragments of bone, with his legislative petition seeking an increased
pension.
Houchin's petition is one of thousands of legislative petitions at the
Library of
Virginia. All are searchable in the Legislative Petitions Database. Read
the
latest entry from the LVA's archivists in the Out of the Box blog.
