Tuesday, October 20, 2015, 7 p.m.  AN END TO INNOCENCE: THE FIRST BATTLE OF MANASSAS, JULY 18-21, 1861; John Hennessy, Chief historian, Fredericksburg National Battlefield Park, will share new insights on the First Battle of Manassas/Bull Run, gained from years of study and consideration of the event. His recent work has resulted in a revision of his classic history of the first major battle of the Civil War. The new edition of The First Battle of Manassas: An End to Innocence, is scheduled to be released in December.
