Ms. McCartney does pull together in one place a lot of material and, I, 
too, appreciate it's presentation; however, Mr. Chandler is correct in 
that she does not include all the new research. For example, while she 
does reference an early article on the Rev. Buck's family published in 
the /Magazine of Virginia Genealogy, /she fails to reference a later 
article that further delineates his family.

As any writer/editor will tell you, nothing is ever perfect. One needs 
to be aware of the limitations of any published material of this type-it 
will never be complete and all inclusive. I would think that the more 
important question would be-does it reflect/include (accurately and 
completely) all the material that it draws from.
