In the 1830s apparently original patents were platted on a map for some or
all of Henrico Co (Dale Parish at least).

All that I know about it is the information and maps at Don Blankenships
website:  http://www.megabits.net/~donb/

Go down to this link (slow loading) where there are several incomplete
versions of the map-- Map of Ralph and Martha Blankinship's original
Homestead ca. 1700.
