_A Voyage Long and Strange: Rediscovering the New World_ by Tony Horwitz

Bestselling author Tony Horwitz will discuss and sign his new book recounting 
the wonder and drama of the many Europeans who preceded the Pilgrims to 
America and roamed the continent in search of spices, passages, fountains of 
youth, gold, and converts. Mixing history and travel, _A Voyage Long and 
Strange_ also examines how early explorers are remembered and debated 
today.

The Library of Virginia is located at 800 East Broad Street in downtown 
Richmond.  Free parking is available underneath the building.
