Everyone,

Tomorrow, Thursday, 9 April, Dr. Gerald Horne, Professor and Chair of History and African American Studies, University of Houston, will speak on slave resistance and the American Revolution.

Dr. Horne is the author of more than thirty books including The Counter-Revolution of 1776: Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America (2014).

He has written over one hundred scholarly articles and reviews, with research addressing issues of racism in a variety of relations involving labor, politics, civil rights, international relations, and war.

Join us for Dr. Horne’s  Presentation and Book Signing, on Thursday, 9 April 2015, at 4 p.m.
