It an abbreviation for against; yes, he was in debt and I believe and that
Charles and Peter Copeland were operating a store in Fredericksburg, but
don't hold me to that.

This was found in the Orange County Order Book 1754-1763. Is "Agt"
against or agent? Does this mean that Samuel Kercheville was in debt?
