Beginning in January 2009, the Virginia Historical Society will observe
new opening hours. The VHS will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 to
5. The galleries will be open Sunday, 1 to 5. The reading room and
galleries will be closed to the public on Mondays. The VHS remains free
to children under 18 and free to everyone on Sundays. In addition,
Virginia House will be closed to the public in January and February 2009
to make improvements that will enhance the visitor experience.
