Am I understanding that it is MORE acceptable for Sally's children to be
descendants of Peter Jeffeson than of Thomas Jefferson?

While we've beat this horse to death on numerous occasions in the past... and
I'm still NOT convinced by your arguments... I think the concept of Peter
Jefferson's mulatto slave being somehow the ancestor of Sally's children is
just your way of adding "smoke and mirrors" to the conversation.

Why... WHY??? must you continue on this crusade to save a reputation that NO
ONE feels is tarnished by Sally's children!

For the record... Jefferson is my all-time hero... and your indignant and
inconsistent efforts at "protecting" him for himself are just utter
nonsense... if not insulting!

This will be my last posting on the Hemings/Jefferson debate. I see no
further gain in talking to one who will not hear. And... for that reason, I
will simply delete all messages from my system with that topic in the subject
line.

Grow up... or at least move on. Solve a real world-pressing issue.
