The Conference on Women and the Civil War attendees will have a special treat this year.  The Special Collections of the Library at Virginia Tech University is opening its doors for a tour of one of the leading Civil War collections in the nation.  Here's your opportunity to view one-of-a-kind manuscripts, letters, and out-of-print materials from this part of the library.

SWCW member, Joyce Nestor, Special Collections Librarian, will conduct tours of the repository.  Using the Special Collections as a model, we will explore techniques to find and use these rare articles for optimal research.  This is a popular tour and will no doubt fill up fast, so get your registration in today!  For that matter, there is limited seating available in all of our great workshops.
