My colleague Brent Tarter offers the following--Gregg Kimball

I'd start by consulting John J. McCusker and Russell R. Menard, The
Economy of British America, 1607-1789 (1985), which has much valuable
data in the text, tables, and charts as well as excellent citations in
the notes. Just remember that what planters received for tobacco in
Virginia was much less than what the tobacco sold for in Great Britain
and also that various grades of tobacco in Virginia sold for widely
differing prices.
