I believe the current spelling in Tidewater Virginia is always Lynnhaven.

I have in my notes somewhere that Adam (or his father Argall) Thorowgood
originated in Lynn, England. I believe that is in Kent.

The spelling of the name Thorowgood is corrupted in every way possible. I
believe the great Thurgood Marshall was actually named after the Thorowgood
family. But, I have no proof of that.
