I was saddened to learn that Prof. Alf Mapp, Jr. had passed away. Prof. Mapp
was a member of the thirteen member Scholars Commission Report
(www.tjheritage.org) that found no proof that Thomas Jefferson fathered any
slave child. He was most emphatic in his beliefs that Jefferson was being
misaligned. Yes, a great fighter for justice and truth has faded away from
our historical research.
