The next in the Library of Virginia's series of book and author talks
take place this week in the conference rooms adjacent to the lobby of
the Library.

On Tuesday, 28 August, award-winning writer Dianne Mott Davidson will
talk about her new novel, Sweet Revenge, a mystery featuring her amateur
culinary detective, Goldy Schultz.

On Thursday, 30 August, Marc Leepson will discuss his new history
volume, Desperate Engagement: How a Little-Known Civil War Battle Saved
Washington, D.C., and Changed American History.

This series is now being cosponsored by the Library of Virginia and the
Richmond Times-Dispatch. Both volumes were reviewed in the book section
of the newspaper on Sunday, 26 August 2007. The on-line reviews can be
