Thanks for the note on the Civil War site.  I checked it out, and found Ed Ayers
book and CD referenced, and looks just like what I need to supplement a short
course I'm taking to the land of the "other side" (in New Hampshire) next summer
-- CIVIL WAR MUSIC -- A WINDOW INTO THE PEOPLE AND THE TIMES.

I also found the CD and book at AMAZON.COM and saved about $5 ordering them
there.
