Anne--

I've always found Patrick Henry fascinating, but maybe that
says more about me than it does about Henry :)

Anyway, there are several good biographies of Henry: Moses
Coit Tyler's classic late 19th century work is a good place
to start. Robert Meade wrote the definitive two volume
biography, but there is also a very readable treatment in
one volume by Henry Mayer, which I believe is still in
print. Finally, Richard Beeman's brief 1974 biography does
a very nice job with Henry's political career. I'd recomend
Mayer's book, if for no other reason than because it reads
so well--just be aware that the author tends to over-state
(in my view anyway) Henry's commitment to democracy.

Hope this is useful,
Kevin
