You are cordially invited to come and learn more about the wealth of 
resources in Virginia's archives and special collections at the Virginia Archives 
Fair.

Date: Tuesday, October 21
Time: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.  
Place: Virginia Historical Society, Cabell Gallery/Halsey Lecture Hall, 428 North 
Boulevard, Richmond

What do archivists do? What types of collections are at the archives and 
special collections libraries in Virginia? Representatives from several institutions 
will talk informally about their holdings, publicize collections, provide 
informational handouts, and answer questions. 
 
Light refreshments, door prizes, and behind-the-scenes tours available.  This 
event is free and open to the public. No prior registration necessary.

Museum, Library of Virginia, Museum of the Confederacy, Mid-Atlantic Regional 
Archives Conference,  Randolph-Macon College McGraw-Page Library,

Claude-Moore Health Sciences Library, Valentine Richmond History Center, 
Virginia Commonwealth University James Branch Cabell Library and Tompkins-
McCaw Library, Virginia Department of Historic Resources, Virginia Historical

Advisory Board.
