Hi, Sam--

In a quick search of the Lexis/Nexis newspaper database for Virginia (and
another in the broader "Southeast Regional Sources," just to capture the DC
papers), it doesn't appear that there have been any articles written in the
past two years that include the phrase "May Campaign" and 1905.  Small local
celebrations in communities around the state may well escape detection
through these sources, but it doesn't appear that there are any larger
commemorations planned--at least none that have made it to the press.

Nor does the phrase appear to be found anywhere in the Virginia Department
of Education web site or its related documents.

Which is a real shame, because it does seem like a fantastic basis for a
celebration!
