Jon--I am no military historian as you well know. If you have any names of the 281men you might check them against the pension claims filed. There is a great web site at revwarapps.org/ that has mounted thousands of these with typescripts of the applications. I did look for George Waller but came up with a blank for him. Good luck--Mick
